Defense

Maximilien is a strong believer in the right to bear arms for personal defense - part of why he has made such big steps to increase military power.

He works specifically on the side of the soliders, defending the armed forces and the men who work in it. He believed the men were made to fight, under unjust rulers and unjust reasoning - this makes them victims of an unfair system - showing again that he protects those in need, and those treated cruelly by others in power.
